1. Cancelling
Open the app, go to your account panel, and choose Manage subscription. Cancel from there. It takes one screen and does not require contacting us.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not cut off your access immediately — you paid for the current period and you keep it until the end, including downloads. Your account panel shows the exact date.
Changed your mind after cancelling? As long as the period has not ended, the same screen offers Undo, and everything continues as before.
2. Pausing instead
If you are taking a break rather than leaving, pause the subscription. It stops billing at the end of the current period and keeps your account, your plan history and your licence record intact. Resume whenever you want. This exists so that a quiet month does not force you to cancel and start over.
3. Refunds
Purchases are processed by Paddle as merchant of record, so Paddle issues refunds. We authorise them; you do not need to negotiate with Paddle yourself. Email support@createblitch.com and we will handle it.
There is a Request a refund link in your account panel that opens that email with your account and plan already filled in — it saves us both a round trip working out which charge you mean. Writing to us directly is equally fine.
Cancelling is instant and self-service (section 1). Refunds are not a button, deliberately: what you buy is files you have already downloaded, so a refund cannot take them back — a person reads each one. The lists above are what that person goes by, and they are written to be generous.
We will refund
- Within 14 days of your first payment, if the service is not what you expected and you have not made substantial use of it. There is a free plan precisely so you can evaluate before paying — but if you paid and it was not right, we would rather refund you than keep money you regret spending.
- An accidental renewal you did not intend, if you tell us reasonably soon after it happens and have not downloaded since.
- A duplicate or clearly mistaken charge, always and in full.
- If we break something — an outage or defect that stopped you using a paid feature for a meaningful stretch — we will refund that time whether or not you ask.
We generally will not refund
- A period you used. If you exported a batch of files and then cancelled, the month was delivered.
- A print that failed on your printer. We cannot see or control your printer, filament, slicer settings or calibration. The good-to-know section and the app's own warnings cover the known sharp edges, and there is a free plan to preview with before you pay.
- Not having used it. A subscription you forgot about is unfortunate but not a defect — though see the accidental-renewal case above, and just ask; we would rather be reasonable than rigid.
Deleting your account
Deleting your account also cancels the subscription, at the end of the period you have paid for. You lose access immediately, so you forfeit whatever days remain — which is why the delete screen says so and offers cancelling instead. If you only want to stop paying, cancel: you keep everything you have paid for until the period ends.
4. Statutory rights
Nothing here reduces any refund or cancellation right your local consumer law gives you. Where such a right applies, it applies regardless of anything on this page.
5. Timing
Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method. Paddle processes them promptly; how quickly the money appears depends on your bank or card issuer, typically 5–10 business days.
6. Your designs are never held hostage
Cancelling, pausing, a lapsed payment or a refund never deletes your work.
Your designs are saved in your own browser regardless of plan, and can always be
exported as a .json file. Losing a subscription means losing the
ability to download new files — not losing what you made.
